TAL Global Institute operates alongside TAL as an independent, foundation‑style entity. We emphasize curiosity, collaboration, and creation - less bureaucracy, more exploration.
Each year we select a cohort of Global Fellows to investigate pressing questions in learning, publish white papers, share insights at our Future of Learning Symposium, and build working prototypes that translate ideas into practice.
Initial phase funding comes from a dedicated TAL Foundation endowment, enabling a focused, small‑pilot approach in Years 1–2.
Advance pedagogy where AI augments, not replaces, the human educator. Study motivation, assessment, and learner identity in AI‑rich environments.
Design models that broaden access to high‑quality learning. Center multilingual, low‑bandwidth, and accessibility‑first approaches.
Explore tools, communities, and professional identities that help teachers thrive in an AI‑enabled age.
One‑year affiliation for accomplished educators, researchers, and creators. Fellows contribute through white papers, symposium talks, or prototypes. Honorariums are symbolic, let's emphasize intellectual contribution and global dialogue.
